The way of electric fusion welding of PE pipe

With the rapid development of urban planning and construction, PE pipes are now widely used in various construction projects, and the advantages have been recognized by us. We use the electric fusion welding machine to energize and heat the resistance wire embedded in the inner wall of the electrofusion pipe part, and use the heating energy to connect the PE pipe part with the pipe. Generally, when the melt is under high temperature and high pressure conditions, the molecular chains of the PE pipe melt will diffuse with each other in the molten part of the interface after the gaps at both ends of the pipe are closed.

When the depth of mutual diffusion on the interface reaches the size determined by the chain entanglement, the interface after natural cooling needs to have a certain welding strength to form a reliable pipe connection. The welding of PE to the pipeline mainly depends on the design of the electric fusion pipe parts and the temperature of the resistance.

Resistance characteristics, stability of power supply voltage provided by electrofusion welding, performance of tube parts and tube materials. Therefore, when we weld PE pipes, we must heat-treat the PE pipes in advance. This can not only improve the strength of the pipes, but also achieve a good welding effect.
